Insurance and hospice

Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI) and Hospice
Starting in 2020, healthcare providers will no longer accept Social Security numbers for Medicare transactions. Your new Medicare card has the Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI) number you need.
